We the members of Oguta Ameshi Association, Tri-State Chapter, USA are happy to announce the official dates for the celebration of the 11th National Convention and Fundraiser of The Oguta Ameshi Association, USA .
The convention will be held in Meriden Connecticut on the following dates;
Date: September 4-6, 2009
Venue: Comfort Inn and Suites, 900 Main Street , Meriden CT 06450.
The Theme for this convention is “UNITY OF PURPOSE-HOPE FOR THE MOTHERLAND”
We hereby invite ALL Oguta indigenes and well-wishers within the United States and worldwide to this august occasion.

This is the nearest international airport to the convention venue. It is about 25 minutes to the venue.
- Tweed New Haven Airport , New Haven CT. This is a regional airport about 15 minutes from the convention venue
- New York Area airports. These airports are about 90 minutes from the convention venue.
TRANSPORTATION
The Connecticut Limousine Service runs from all the airports to the convention venue and other points in CT, at a cost of about $80.00 per person. At all the airport arrival halls, just pick up the phone marked with Ct Limo and an operator will answer.
**** We STRONGLY recommend that guests and members rent a car at the airport for the weekend use.
